A full range of PDC cutters designed for oil/gas drilling and mining bits, are manufactured under state-of-the-art sintering processes. It consists of a layer of polycrystalline diamond integrally sintered to a tungsten carbide substrate under high pressure and high temperature. PDC cutter combines the hardness and abrasion resistance of diamond with the impact resistance of tungsten carbide, and provides faster, more durable and more cost-effective drilling.

We have SC and EC series of cutters available.

SC cutter is available in planar and non-planar interface. Unique patented interface geometry and good diamond properties contribute to good abrasion resistance, high impact resistance and reduced residual stress. Enhanced design features and improvements are giving excellent performance in drilling soft to medium formations.

SFD is focused on continuously providing new cutter options. EC is a premium cutter tailored to meet the needs of highly demanding drilling applications. The unique integrated design helps minimize internal stress and improve spalling and chipping resistance. The combination of unique interface geometry and diamond properties provides increased Rate of Penetration (ROP) and longer big life in highly demanding drilling applications. EC cutters come with significant improvements and distinct to other cutters on today’s market.

Product Testing & Evaluation


To ensure our cutters meet the highest quality standards, we subject our cutters to rigorous testing. It includes Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) Heavy Wear Test, Impact Resistance Test, and Simulated Brazing Test.
1. Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) Heavy Wear Test
It's conducted on a vertical Turret Lathe and combines elements of both abrasion and impact testing. As the cutter cuts through miles of Granite, we monitor temperature and cutting forces. This allows us to evaluate cutter aggressiveness, efficiency, and thermal stability


2. Impact Resistance Test.
The drop impact test evaluates the impact strength of our cutters. This test emulates the type of loading that might be encountered when the bit transitions from one formation to another or experiences lateral and axial vibrations.
